Cure therapies to treat melasma

Melasma (muh-LAZ-muh), a common skin problem identified by brown to gray-brown patches on the skin (usually on the face, although can appear on other parts of the body exposed to the sun), is known to be triggered by birth control pills, pregnancy, hormone therapy, and thyroid disease. The sun's ultraviolet rays on cells that control pigment are also a known cause. While there is currently no known cure for melasma, there are several treatment options which improve appearance.  At Cure, we offer fractional laser therapy as well as topical medications and have seen great success.
